Need Volunteers - Clean up Cliffton

The Grand Valley Interfaith Network (GVIN) in partnership with Mesa County Sheriff's Office is in need of at least 20 to 30 people to help with... Our very first   "Clean-Up Clifton"  Event!  On  Saturday, September 30th   9am to noon -ish At the intersection of 32 Rd. Bridge and 1-70B  *We are being supplied bags, gloves, the company of the Sheriff's Office Crime Reduction Unit Deputies and anything else we might need for the clean-up. *Water will be provided as well. *Please wear closed-toed shoes. *Dress in layers so that you will be comfortable no matter what Mother Nature throws our way! *Please park on the West side of 32 Rd near the GVT Bus Transfer Point (Jiffy Lube and Jimmy Johns are also there) Please, RSVP (individuals, families, youth groups, etc.) with Julie Mamo (GV Peace & Justice) at 260-4301 or director@gvpeacejustice.org  by  Thursday, Sept 28th ! Fall Food Drive!

The Grand Valley Interfaith Network (GVIN) is having a Fall Food Drive to help feed those in need in our valley. Fill your grocery bags with non-perishable foods and lots of love before delivering them on Saturday, October 21st between 9am and Noon to the east parking lot of Downtown Vineyard Church at 5 th & Grand. Grocery bags are provided and have specific food lists attached so that we all provide the foods most needed by Child and Migrant Services, The Agape Food Basket, The Community Food Bank, Kids Aid, Clifton Christian Church Food Program and Grand Valley Catholic Outreach. The agencies will be present to load your donations into their respective vehicles and provide information about their good works. (Keep those lists attached to your bags so you can easily deliver them to the appropriate agencies on the 21 st !) GVIN and many, many grateful people thank you!
