2018 April Foods Day

The Grand Valley Interfaith Network (GVIN) invites you to participate in APRIL FOODS DAY to help feed those in need in our valley. Fill your grocery bags with non-perishable foods and lots of love before delivering them on Saturday, APRIL 7th between 9am and Noon to the east parking lot of Downtown Vineyard Church at 5th &; Grand. Grocery bags are provided and have specific food lists attached so that we all provide the foods most needed by Child and Migrant Services, The Agape Food Basket, The Community Food Bank, Kids Aid, Clifton Christian Food Program and Grand Valley Catholic Outreach. The agencies will be present to load your donations into their respective vehicles and provide information about their good work. (Keep those lists attached to your bags so you can easily deliver them to the appropriate agencies on the 7th!) GVIN and many, many grateful people thank you! Invitation to open mic night by Global Heart

You are Invited to a Family-Friendly Evening Hosted by The Global Heart @ Yoga West Community ~ 1025 Main Street Saturday, February 24th 6:30 - 8:30pm Free Will Love Offering to Purchase Yoga Silks for YWC Studio Bring a poem, your guitar, flute, bassoon, voice or ideas to share with others in a welcoming and friendly space. Have some healthy snacks, beverages and fun. . Make a donation at the beverage/snack area to help support YWC and all the good things that happen here as a community! To share at the open mic that evening, you just sign up as you enter the door....perhaps you, your child or teen has painted a great work of art and they just want to share it...we will have an easel on hand for display! Come one, come all, even if you just want to sit, relax and listen! To help with snacks, beverages, set up/clean up, or donate/lend items for the evening, please contact Sherry at 970.261.7695. Touched by Teen Suicide invitation

Tuesday February 13, 6:30-8:00 pm at Canyon View Vineyard Church (736 24 1/2 Road Grand Junction 81505) Together Colorado is hosting District 51 representatives, mental health experts, city and county officials, and law enforcement for "Who's listening: touched by teen suicide" and Pastor Paul would personally extend his invitation to you for this event.

2nd Clean Up Cliffton

Thank you to everyone who showed up today at our second Clean Up Cliffton! Three truckloads of trash were removed. GVIN, in partnership with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office, cleaned up both the front & back yards at a private home to help out a woman who recently had her leg amputated.
