Interfaith Week, Blood Drive and Movie Night
The Grand Valley Interfaith Network (GVIN) is coordinating and hosting two public events during “Interfaith Awareness Week” (August 5-11, 2018), as well as encouraging its members / faith leaders and their respective congregations to participate in these inclusive activities or host similar, independent events that support humanity and our similarities through love and kindness. It is the intention of GVIN to raise awareness of the many ways the organization and its faith leaders interact with and befriend one another, and how we can mutually support our neighbors regardless of our preferred religion, spiritual beliefs, or secular affiliation. This is GVIN’s first year participating in this week-long recognition of all world religions in conjunction with other interfaith groups across the country, initiated by the California Interfaith Association (www.cainterfaith.org).
